Instructor: Joan Lipiec
Description: This is a mixed media project with a whimsical feeling. We’ll start with Laura Heine’s pattern and create a scrappy, low volume background, followed by simple quilting. We will add vases, flowers, leaves and grass, primarily using wool felt. Everyone will create a unique piece by selecting shapes from the pattern. The final step is to embellish using your choice of hand embroidery ribbon, rick-rack, rat tail, beads, buttons, et cet.
